Sometimes when a loved one passes away their family is left with a financial burden that compounds the grief they are experiencing from the loss of their loved one.
About the Patient Fund
The Carnation Foundation Patient Fund is designed to provide financial assistance to help hospice and palliative care patients and their families overcome financial burdens stemming from unforeseen circumstances. These funds can be used to improve a patient’s quality of life, help fund a patient’s last wishes, assist with funeral costs, or obtain non-hospice equipment needed for everyday living.
Resources from the Patient Fund also assist with community projects such as bereavement camps and educational outreach programs for end-of-life care.
