Kristy McLellan
Carnation Foundation Director
Kristy serves as the director of the Carnation Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed by Agape Care Group to provide additional support to patients and their families and the employees of company’s network of care providers.
With more than two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, she is a highly effective champion for organizations that serve the needs of vulnerable and underserved individuals in our communities. Before she was tapped to lead the Carnation Foundation, Kristy used her well-honed development, marketing, fundraising, and media savvy skills to help raise more than $9 million dollars during her tenure as senior philanthropic giving manager at Harvest Hope, South Carolina’s largest food bank. Kristy also served as the director of development for Oliver Gospel Mission where she helped raise more than $5 million advocating for the unhoused in Columbia, South Carolina.
In her role at the Carnation Foundation, Kristy taps into her unique combination of compassion, empathy, and results-driven excellence to guide the foundation’s Patient With You Fund. The charitable fund offers welcome financial assistance and other resources to hospice and palliative care patients and their families navigating end-of-life journeys.
She also oversees the foundation’s companion Employee With You Fund. Created because Agape Care Group values the dedicated and selfless people who are the heart of its organization, the fund offers financial aid and other support to the organization’s care team members during times of crisis.
